I'm still learning how to do this so it looks nicer....

But this is another old box of chewing tobacco that I've covered with fabric. These containers are actually really handy. I use one of them for earrings, one for safety pins, and I think I'm currently using another one for beads.

Ruffle skirt

I got the pattern online. I sewed it by myself without any help. I like the way it turned out. Modeling it for us today is Josefina.

I will mention also that the fancy camisa was made by my mother and given to me as a christmas gift.

Knit in the round on the skirt, my own pattern. The torso and sleeves are adapted from a larger pattern just to give me an idea on what to do. Still my own design, either way.

Made with sport weight/DK yarn, size zero needles.

Yes and no.

I think I will just make this an outlet for whatever creative thing I do, be it drawing/painting, photography, writing, knitting, etc.

So, to start out with, I took mini pm Felicity the other day for a photoshoot. Only problem: my camera threw a tantrum and the batteries died. So I only got like, one good picture.

And, as I was awoken this morning by a freakin's now plow, I won't be going out again for a while.

This is just a public service announcement to say:

I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS IN THE ENTIRE WORLD!

Even though some of them drive me crazy sometimes, and sometimes we might have our issues, I'm so glad that I have the type of friends whom I can talk to and work things out with.

I don't have a whole lot of money. In fact, stuff came up and I'm struggling to come up with the money to even apply to schools. But, at campmeeting, I was in a seminar. And the speaker asked, "how many of you have even just ONE friend who you can tell everything to. raise your hands." there wasn't a huge crowd or anything, but i was still shocked. only about 1/3rd (1/2, if i'm being generous) put up their hand. I was like, whoa, wait, seriously?

My closeset friend might be 6 hours away. I may not necessarily have someone who feels the same about me, but apprently I have more than half those people in that church. I have friends, more than one, to whom I can tell ANYTHING and know that they will still love me. I don't have a whole lot of money. But I have friends. And in this, I am rich.
